A Brief Look at Puerto Rican Books Dedicated to the Study of the Psychology of Religion and Spirituality

Abstract

The rise of the study of the religion and spirituality in the field of health sciences has been remarkable. Certainly, a significant increase in research has been documented within the field of the psychology of religion and spirituality in the Puerto Rican context. In this article, I briefly discuss some Puerto Rican books that expose content associated with this topic from different perspectives. In addition, I reflect in our commitment to promote the scientific study of religious and spiritual dimensions in the field of mental health. We extend a call to the community of professionals and students to join this path.
