Abstract

We address the questions posed Padilla-Martinez on teaching, supervision and training of Evidence Based (EBT) in Puerto Rico. Information is limited on the topic, which calls attention to the pressing need for effective methods for teaching EBTs and on how supervision and training are provided. We examine several doctoral programs to explore the degree to which EBTs and Evidence-based Psychological Practice are part of the curriculum, what training is provided through alternate means, and the available research. We offer some preliminary suggestions to address the information gap on training on EBTs and EBPP.
