Abstract

This paper addresses the comments by Talavera-Valentin and Reyes-Estrada (2015) on research to establish treatment efficacy, the use of alternative methods, and the integration of new technologies. We point out the difference between the science to determine the efficacy of treatments and implementation and dissemination science. We affirm the importance of conducting Randomized Clinical Trials (RCT) as well as their equivalents as indispensable and necessary for the dissemination and implementation of Evidence Based Treatments (EBT) and Evidence Based Psychological Practice (EBPP).
