La Fiebre No Está en la Sábana: Respuesta a Talavera-Valentín y Reyes-Estrada (2015) Sobre Cómo Avanzar los TBE en Puerto Rico

En este escrito respondemos a los planteamientos de Talavera- Valentín y Reyes-Estrada (2015) sobre la investigación para establecer eficacia de tratamientos, posibles métodos alternos y la incorporación de tecnologías nuevas. Elaboramos la diferencia entre la investigación sobre la psicoterapia para establecer eficacia y la ciencia de diseminación e implantación. Concluimos que los ensayos clínicos aleatorizados (RCTs) y los estudios que establezcan equivalencia a los RCTs son indispensables para llevar a mayor escala la diseminación e implantación de Tratamientos Basados en Evidencia (TBE) y de las Practicas Basadas en Evidencia (PPBE).
